As a Highway Concession Project, the Sungai Klang Link development is a new urban expressway linking KESAS near Tol Awan Besar in Kuala Lumpur to the town of Klang, Selangor. Being an alternative road to the Federal Highway, the total length of the new expressway will be approximately 57.5KM.
The expressway shall be designed as per Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia’s (LLM) Urban Toll Expressway Standards Malaysia. The expressway shall be three laned dual carriageway, and it will be about 90% elevated through out the alignment.
With traffic on the existing Federal Highway connecting Kuala Lumpur to Klang usually congested, and even worse during the morning and evening peak hours, the new SKL Highway will provide an alternative and convenient link between Kuala Lumpur and Klang that will pass through the highly populated areas of Klang, Shah Alam, Subang, Puchong, Petaling Jaya and Bukit Jalil.

SKL - The Company Behind the Project
Sungai Klang Link Sdn Bhd (SKL) is the Special Purpose Vehicle responsible to design, construct, operate, manage and maintain and value add the Sungai Klang Link Elevated Highway & Infrastructure Development Project.
Incorporated in 2018, it is a subsidiary of Propadu Holdings Berhad, a Malaysian conglomerate involved in 8 sectors with 15 subsidiaries in various sectors. With an annual turnover of over RM 100 mil, the involvement of the group in the business of Highways and Concessions is testimony of its vision of being a key player in the Malaysian economy and beyond.
